When it comes to finding easy ways to make money, they don’t exactly fall into our hands.
But there are a few ideas that I know of, that aren’t very much talked about for some reason. So I’ve decided to put them out there for those looking for super easy ways to make some extra cash.
I always like to put out there that these 4 ways won’t make you rich, but it will put some decent change in your pockets. Plus, you can do any of these in your spare time.
LifePoints(formerly known as “MyPoints”) will actually let you kick back, watch short videos and make money from it.
Surprisingly, the stuff they have for us to watch is actually pretty interesting. Food, Politics, Celebrity Gossip, Fashion and more, all you have to do is choose a playlist to watch and you’re making money.
On top of watching videos, LifePoints also has a whole variety of things you can do on their platform to make money. They payout to your PayPal and in gift cards, which is up to you. Get $5 when you take 5 quick surveys here.
This is number one for a reason: you really don’t have to watch the videos on this site to earn! ( As if watching videos for money is a hard task in itself.)
I’ve always loved Swagbucks! Even though I’ve found other ways to make money online, Swagbucks is still a current favorite.
They offer so many ways to make money on their site; you can even earn passively just by having their extension on your browser.
Swagbucks has an app called Swagbucks TV, where you can just watch a bunch of videos and get paid for it.
Because they make it so simple to earn money watching videos, I have a super simple morning routine that involves pressing play on their playlist, and finishing my regular morning activities while the videos play in the background.
With this simple strategy I earn cash super passively, and I hardly ever have to touch my device.
You can redeem your earnings for gift cards to your favorite retailers (Wal-Mart, Target, etc). Or you can opt for PayPal cash, which is what I do. (The extra $100 or so just from watching videos comes in handy when it’s time to go grocery shopping!)
3. Make an Extra $50 Watching Short VideosOn Vindale
As one of the oldest survey sites out there, Vindale Research has made a name for themselves by offering multiple ways to make money with them.
One of these ways happens to be watching videos which are typically short clips on various topics like the latest news, celebrity gossip, promotions of new and rising artists. And of course, movie previews.
For each short video, you’ll have to rate it with either a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down”, which means you’ll have to keep an eye on the screen while the playlist is playing.
Would you like to make $30 just for watching a movie?
Well, you can, and that $30 is what’s called a “theater check”.
It’s what you receive when you help movie theaters and studios answer a few questions, like “what are the most popular showings?” and “what kind of previews are being played before the movie?”.
Gathering information like this gives them a better idea on their audiences. And it, in return, helps them put out better content.
Working for them means attending movie premiers and collecting this data for them.
If making money watching movies sounds like an awesome side gig, you should check out Market Force Information, which is a secret shopper company. Filling out an application for them only takes a few minutes. And as long as you live in the U.S. or Canada, you’re eligible to be hired.
once you sign up, you’ll just have to be on the lookout for invitations via email. They’ll contain the movie they’d like you to see and the particular showing.
You’ll have the option to accept or decline an invitation, of course. And if you decide to decline, they’ll still send you other invites in there’s one in your area. So if there’s a particular movie you’re not interested in seeing, no pressure! A $30 check will be waiting for you next time.
5. How to Get Paid to Watch Netflix
Now people! Hear ye, Hear ye!
This IS a real job.
Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Watch Netflix all day and get paid to do it? That’s like a dream come true.
But just like a regular job, there is work to be done and there are rules to follow. Nevertheless, it is a job that many people would rather over what they’re currently doing.
It’s called Netflix tagging, where Netflix Analysts watch movies and shows, then “tag” them with similar and relevant content.
You know when you’ve just finished watching “The Walking Dead” and your Netflix account has a whole section called ” Because you watched The Walking Dead”, with a list of other zombie and/or apocalyptic content?
Yep, that’s the Netflix taggers at work.
But it’s not all rainbows and butterflies with this job. As I said, it requires actual work, and it’s work that can probably get old fast. You won’t be watching just any movie of your choice. And to even qualify you’d have to know a good amount about film and TV. Plus, you’d have to pass a written test to prove your knowledge in the field.
The real “job” part of it all is tagging the content with the right information about it, such as the year the film came out, the actors, the directors and all the other stuff we see in the description of a Netflix movie or show.
